CORE Gardens of Wichita
CORE currently operates the Robin Rounds Memorial Garden located at 1121 N. Green. This garden was started in 2013 to provide free produce to the community and teach young people the skills and tools of gardening.

Empower U
Empower U workshops are an opportunity for the community to empower themselves with information to make a positive impact and address issues in a way that brings people together around solution.
Most notably our workshop on Gang File policy (Seen Here) resulted in policy change within the City of Wichita.
Books & Breakfast ICT
Books & Breakfast ICT is a collaborative program hosted by the Wichita Public Library, ICT RBG, Wichita Griots, WITT, Truepoetry, and CORE. B&B promotes community empowerment through cultural enrichment, collaborative community building, and literacy improvement.

The Wichita Urban Professionals is an organization made up of Black/African American professionals from 18-45 years old who are focused on developing and empowering the young, diverse, and talented in South Central Kansas and the surrounding areas. We aspire to help lead these professionals into their next steps of life by providing engaging and relevant personal development, professional development, and social networking training and events.

Emotional Emancipation Circles sm EEC
Emotional Emancipation Circles (EECs) are evidence-informed, psychologically sound, culturally grounded, and community-defined self-help support groups designed to help heal the trauma caused by anti-Black racism. In EECs, we share stories; deepen our understanding of the impact of historical forces on our sense of self-worth, our relationships, and our communities; and learn essential emotional wellness skills to help us be at our best as individuals and as a people.
